Lash Lounge Review!!!

Late Post! I decided to take the lash plunge 2 weeks ago but am just now writing my review. Why so late you say? Well life as a single mom, working full time, and the 6,000 appointments between me and the kids. Oh and I got sick for a week straight with the stomach bug so why not write while in bed. Complications of being a toddler teacher smh lol πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ.

After much deliberation and staring at my coworkers Renee’s thick beautiful lashes for months lol I finally decided to give it a try. There was a new Lash Lounge opening up in Assembly Row so it was the perfect opportunity to amp these lashes up, plus Assembly Row is one of my favorite hangouts so why not? Also because they just opened they had a promotion to get a classic set for $129. So off I went to live my best lashed life!

The Lash Lounge is on the back end of Assembly Row down by Lucky Strike. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Upon arrival they checked me in and offered me something to drink, they had coffee, tea and water. I filled out my paperwork and it was lash time!

The whole process took about 2 hours. It was painless and easy. You can’t get them wet for 24 hours to make sure the glue dries properly… this includes crying so don’t go getting into fights with your boyfriend on lash day ladies. If you do make him pay for your next fill…thank me later πŸ˜‰. After the 24 hours you can use baby shampoo to clean along the lash line. They give you a mascara wand to brush your lashes out daily.

Now the downside. The only negative for me personally is that I had to give up my beloved liquid eyeliner. Also eye makeup isn’t recommended but I can’t give up everything honestly that’s just crazy talk! I don’t wear eyeshadow often just for special occasions so for me it’s fine. If you decided to do so it’s at your own risk as they tell you not to do this! I’ve never been one for rules so πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ I’ll take my chances. Other than that it was a great experience and I highly recommend lash lounge. What have your experiences with lashes been like? Love it or leave it? Let me know in the comments below!

After my lash refill today I found out I can still wear eyeliner! Yay!!! Just have to use a makeup remover that’s oil free. πŸ™ŒπŸΎ #winning

Here are pictures of me with a classic full set. These are the more natural looking lashes. I have big eyes to begin with so I didn’t want to go too crazy. There is also the option to upgrade to more lashes, or if you want the full look go for the Volume Lashes. I think next time I will upgrade and get them a little thicker but I like the more natural look. If your interested the promo is still available here The Lash Lounge tell them Krystal Hinton sent you πŸ˜† or use my referral link

Happy Lashing,
